Amorim is replacing Ten Hag, not Sir Alex Ferguson. David Moyes was Ferguson’s replacement. Ferguson has been gone for over a decade, this team no longer resembles a Ferguson team and until the media realise that no manager has a chance to be considered a success.
If Amorim doesn’t finish top 3 this season (he won’t) then he’s already worse than Fergusons worst Premier League season.
Compare him to Ten Hag if you can’t resist the urge to make comparisons but comparing any manager to Ferguson when they’ve been at any club for less than 15 years is absolutely ridiculous, we will never see another manager at any club like Ferguson ever again and until the media, and a lot of fans, understand that, then no United manager will be considered a success or even have the chance to become successful

The english media is so biased against Manchester United, no one wants them to succeed. So much hate against them, for being the biggest club in england. It is too much crazy. No one says much about oil money spent on Man city. How long Arteta has stayed and won nothing at Arsenal. The chaos signings at chelsea or the Liverpool team which should win so much, but has won so lilttle in the past decade.

I like his response when asked if Amorim is the right man! Cos they (pundits and media) talked up Ten Hag, Moyes, Jose and even offered Southgate (who plays conservative football and has not won anything with England) to United.

United have simply created jobs and exposures for these media houses.

Rúben Amorim will give it a try but with the current players it will take some time, so the fans need to be very patient.

It was a long-term project with EtH as well. Didn't work out though. Ruben may be very good, but so was EtH when he was at Ajax. There is a much more deep-rooted problem at the club than selecting the right manager which demands rectification.
