However, the problem with playing in this 3-4-3 system with these dynamics is that it requires a team that has well-established processes, is smart enough to understand the movements of its own players, and has above-average intensity. If you watch Sporting CP’s games, intensity is their strong point... all the players are constantly moving, both offensively and defensively, whether closing spaces or creating passing lanes. The Manchester United team, however, lacks half of this understanding, and not even a third of the intensity. Therefore, they will face a long and difficult task ahead. It’s not just about tactical knowledge; it’s about having the commitment and the energy to execute such a demanding system. Without this, no amount of training will quickly fix the gap in performance.
