Ironic. Those who didn't want to hear it treated the series itself the way Harry Potter was treated in the Order of the Phoenix when those in charge didn't want to hear that Voldemort was back.

Daniel Radcliffe was “a” Harry Potter… not “the” Harry Potter.
The real Harry Potter will always exist in Jo Rowling’s masterpieces.
Same for all the other characters.

I think the video games, shows and expansion of theme parks kind of tell you how the "cancellation" really went lol. People pay word service (especially on social media) to the "movements" but in the end people do what they want to do

Thank you for not giving up. I am 68 and love the books and movies. My grandchildren grew up with the movies, took them to parties. Thank you.

I will never do any of that to my Harry Potter possessions

I will never turn my back on Harry Potter, it was my childhood. My feelings for it can simply never be destroyed by anything outside of the story itself.
I'll keep buying books and games and movies regardless, because I love the wizarding world.

They tried to boycott Hogwarts Legacy and it was an enormously successful game.

Like many, I never had a stance on this whole thing.

My whole 'mantra of acceptance' is that you live your life how you want, so long as you're not hurting anyone, and everyone consents...no one can tell you what to-do other wise.

To me, cancel culture has been a prime example of the opposite for many things. The "If I don't like it, then you can't enjoy it." attitudes....You'd think, given the years of discrimination and being looked down upon (especially by religious groups), that they would understand the irony there.

0.01% of the population who cry on twitter can't cancel anything. Especially not something as massive as Harry Potter.

Harry Potter was a cornerstone of my childhood. I have all the books, the games barring Hogwarts Legacy, and all the movies. I basically grew up alongside Harry and his friends.

Regardless of certain comments she's made, JK Rowling created an incredible story that helped me through some rough times both back in my childhood and even today as an adult. And no amount of vitirol and hate (from either side) will ever take that from me.

No one can say what I should and shouldn't NEVER!

I don’t think the majority of people care about what she said, as much as the vocal minority would like to have people think. It’s important that she doesn’t give up creative control of the brand. Every time that has happened, it becomes a soulless rip off of the original. Just look at Star Wars. It’s important that she remains a voice for decisions of Harry Potter

You are a LEGEND for this. Almost as awesome as the lady herself.

In real life no one cares. You just have to look at the continued sales and success of the franchise. While Twitter thought Harry was cancelled these last few years it still sold tens of millions of books, new theme park lands and rides, top selling video game, etc, etc. Most people in real life don’t know a thing about Rowling.

Fantastic Beasts flopped because they’re not good films not because of JK.

The fandom will move on, we will continue to love this world, and there is nothing the idiots who tried to cancel it can do to stop us.

You forgot to mention the theme park which has continued to do extremely well throughout all of this

Harry Potter can’t be cancelled because the majority of us live in the real world and don’t care about this cancellation nonsense.

Much respect for you and your channel. I don't understand people who stand for a cause that protects groups of people but hurl abusive messages at those who disagree, or just like a piece of art. No excuse for awful messges, ever.
