Girl! I need all the numbers in a worksheet to carry around with me! I've been dying for a cheat sheet that included all the variety names for sizes of each yarn.
I better get to writing :)

This is so helpful. I’ve often made a project and though my stitches were too big. I wish I would have seen this before them😄. Thank you

Thank you for your tutorial on this. I have been learning about yarn, but didn't know all the sizes. Plus whenever it is discussed to change hook size I wasn't sure why.
Now I do😊
Thank you so much Tiffany!

Good tips. My favorite hook is a 6.00 mm for my 4 weight yarn.

OMG yes! As someone from the UK who was struggling to decipher what a 4 and 5 weight equivalent was to follow a few projects I am so thankful! Tiffany you are amazing! You seem to cover all of the bases! Thank you so much! You've definitely gained a new subscriber in me and I can't wait to follow one of your tutorials now I understand what I'm using! 💜💛

I'd just like to add that you can really use whatever size hook you'd like for your project. I've used a 5.5mm hook with a DK.. it gave me a lacey, drapey project. It's all up to you and what type of project you're making. honestly. One thing I did notice is that Tiffany, you said size 6 is know as "roving." Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I've always thought that roving was the TYPE of yarn, not the size. Some yarn is plied, some is chain spun, some is roving. There are others but I'm drawing a blank here. Your video is fantastic and very helpful, especially with those ply numbers because I never have a clue about those 😂 Thank for informing us on even more crochet knowledge! 💗💗

The size 7 hook is an unsung hero. It is sometimes referred to as G+. I really like it and use it often.
