You should see the difference in my home since I've been applying your advice. It's still a mess, but it's no longer an overwhelming disaster that made me cry on a daily basis 😅. I've still got a ways to go but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel now. I can't thank you enough Cas🤗

This is a phenomenal read that's been around for many many years a top seller. Many of the top bussiness or self gurus today started out with and teach these exact same principals. They are time and true tested.

I'm autistic and I sometimes really struggle with executive functioning. I've been talking to others like me who are on the spectrum, have ADHD, depression, anxiety, or are going through grief or other difficult situations. I love self help books but a lot of times find the advice hard to follow. I decided to start taking notes on what has worked for me, and I hope one day to turn those thoughts into a productivity book for those of us who are having a really hard time accomplishing what we want to accomplish!

I needed this today! I literally fought with my spouse at 5 this morning bc I was upset about him not cleaning last night... the way I wanted/expected (AKA The way I would clean). I needed this reminder to focus on myself. I constantly tell my spouse to stop getting mad about what he can't control; meanwhile, I'm doing it myself. Thanks for this content!

I read this book years ago and applied these principles to my job as a classroom teacher. It changed my perspective in so many situations! Beginning with the end in mind worked wonders in parent meetings, especially if they know certain things cannot be changed (like policy) and all they really want to do is complain ! When I said "When we end this meeting, I want to be sure we have addressed your concerns
and that we have come to a clear understanding of school policy. What about you?" Oftentimes they had to think before they answered, which went a long way toward clarity and calm for all involved. Excellent job explaining and applying these 7 principles to having a clutter-free home, Cas! Never thought about it this way before!

Awesome! That explains why I don't succeed... I make the plans but don't take the actions.

I had to read this book in college and write essays covering each habit. It was a bit overwhelming at times, but I got through it and it made me reflect upon my life and the direction it was going. The "ah ha" momemt for me was when Covey said, "Love is a verb." Reading that changed me.
Love is a verb. Love – the feeling – is the fruit of love the verb or our loving actions. So love her. Sacrifice. Listen to her. Empathize. Appreciate. Affirm her.

Stephen R. Covey,  The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: Powerful Lessons in Personal Change
It made me realize that LOVE is an action and not just a word to say! 💝

'it's very dry'. Masterful understatement!!! Xx

What I hate about most of the self-help books is that they have a couple of ideas that can be explained in a few paragraphs... but they blow it out into an entire book. That’s why I rarely finish a selfhelp book - my time is valuable - I want the gist of it and be done 😎😇

Cas, you are so fun and real. I love listening to and watching you. Thanks for the words of wisdom. Please keep reading and sharing!🤣

I’ve not read the one that’s been mentioned here a few times “how to manage your home without losing your mind” Thanks again!!

One thought about why authors do the self bragging. I honestly think sometimes they do it to show that they’re qualified to write the book or to give the advice that they’re giving and they want you to know their credentials so that you take them seriously. Not saying it’s the best thing to do but I think that’s one reason they do it.

"Douche canoe"! Can't say I've ever heard that one, lol. "Tiny Habits" is by far the best self improvement book I've read and it isn't dry.

Love the proactive and reactive part. I used to beg my husband to do the dishes, take the trash out, easy things. Now I just do them!!! Saves an argument, I don't have to waste my breath and I get things done as soon as I want them done.

Love your Motivational Mondays series! You got me to purge my bedroom closet n dressar and rearrange the layout. It wasn't hard, but I pushed it off for months. Normally I love rearranging furniture but the 🌎 gave me the blahs. Thanks again for the push I sorely needed. 🤗🤗🤗
