I tried this and still cannot get files from my music folder into my iTunes. I've tried the automatically add folder also but no luck. About ready to give up.

My iTunes is set to 'Manually manage music and videos' but I'm still unable to drag and drop music files into iTunes. I've downloaded the latest version of iTunes but I'm still having the same issue. Any advice you could offer would be greatly appreciated! Thank You!

My setting only say “Manually manage videos” not music and videos. And the apply button does not show, a “sync” button is in its place

I don't know why itunes is so fucking complicated and I don't know why groove music is equally as confusing and annoying but this video actually just saved me from bashing my head against the table. All I wanted to do was add a stupid fucking ringtone to my phone and this is literally what ya gotta do. Ya gotta check off that checkbox and ONLY that checkbox, hit apply, and then change your file extension to .m4r and you'll be set. Then you can just pop that file onto your phone and bing bang boom it's done. You're done.

i can't drag and drop form my pc, to itunes, i download the Song but when i go to drag it and drop it into my itunes folders it doesn't drop,

now it's saying some files (the only one i tried to put on there) weren't copied because icloud syncing is enabled. but when i go to my music library on my phone, the song isnt there.

Thank you. That saved my life today after searching for 4 hours. The problem is that after I applied the manual settings, it removed all the songs that was available on my iphone and had to repeat all over again from the beginning. But no problems at least I can transfer the songs now.
