Easy Fixed: Data Transfer Cancelled Reset iPhone to start setting up again'

Recently when I tried to transfer my data and contents from Old iPhone to my new iPhone by using Apple’s iPhone to iPhone data migration feature, it got cancelled. In this video you will find how I fixed how I fixed data transfer cancelled or iPhone migration not working problem.

I faced the same issue. I used mobile network instead of WiFi and charged the old phone while transferring data. It worked!

Had same issue, tried 4 times. After all that i looked up this video. SO, at that point I updated the OS on the old phone (there was an update needed) and restarted the phone. Then plugged in both phones to charge while trying the next transfer (did not have them plugged in the first 4 times). I also reset all my wifi in the house. did all that then tried it again. At that point i started the transfer again. This time during the transfer the OS on the new phone updated (this did not happen the first 4 times i tried and got this error here) once the new iphone updated in the middle of the transfer, the transfer started again and this time showed the time limit on the transfer (YAY) it worked finally after the 5th time.

Thank you for your help.I tried twice to transfer data from Iphome SE to Iphone 14 and got the failed notice.I downloade the latest ios update on both phones .I had no problems transferring my data. I had waisted a lot of hours but thanks to you i got it done

My transfer of data fro old (XS) to new (15pro) was extremely slow (projected 10 hours). This video assured me to stop the process an start anew. I think the problem was that my old phone did not connect to wifi network. Fixed it, and now countdown starts at 1 hour. Lots of pictures 🙂. Thank You!

It either brings me through the whole process and says "data transfer cancelled" or at sign in it says "verification failed there was an error connecting to the Apple ID server"

After 5 times I found this and followed instructions and the first time it failed again. Then on step when iOS asks what data to transfer (aps, passwords, wallet) I choose ‘customize’. All settings (faceid, location…) I left to later setup. Then Data tranfer was successful. Including everything from this video.

I swear to god this is the last time I buy an iphone, I have absolutely always hated iTunes (had to go into powershell to link drives because iTunes doesn't have a simple option to change backup drive location) and basic features like "quick transfer" yield errors after errors. That's after my old iPhone 7 plus kept freezing to simply transfer photos to my PC, it just wont do it after trying numerous tips and tricks that I found on the internet. I remember back in 2010 when my Galaxy phones simply worked, albiet Android apps where always behind and this was the main reason I switched to iPhone, to have apps that don't force close constantly or are out of date since devs focus on Apple products more than Android. Either way, I'm done with Apple, just tired of the BS.

I tried transferring from my old iphone of 256 gb to a new iphone of 256 gb keeping in mind whatever you have told in the video but the transfer got failed saying the same error with a message saying insufficient storage issue..apple didnt provide me with a proper help...could you please help.
