Haven’t watched more than two minutes yet, but this is phenomenal. Tip one is basically “if you don’t like learning from me, find someone who you like to learn from”. I love that. As a teacher that is what I would always say to students who needed extra help. “If you’re not learning if from me, maybe another teacher can help you more.” You’re a great teacher. I have learned a ton. Thanks for the amazing content!

Experienced vgc player here. I gotta say you're doing a fantastic job bro not only these tips are incredibly helpful for new players but also you're pretty good in singles and don't use genned mons which is very rare nowadays. Keep it up mate! You deserve way more attention

I got into vgc because of my husband and I wasn’t a competitive player by any means, so what I did is exactly what you said, watching vgc YouTube greatly helped me. I was watching ALOT of Cybertron. I ended up winning a midseason showdown in 2017 because his YouTube’s videos exposed me to different sets and how to handle different threats.

I found your channel and JameBaek when Cybertron got busy with school and have been following since 2018 <3

Thanks so much for this video.
I went back to play online ranked because of your Serene Grace Blissey runs back when you were doing BDSP.
I'm not a fan of restricteds (again learned that from watching your vids)
so i seldom play much in ranked SwSh nowadays (soooo many Zacians/Kyogres/Calyrexes!).
But I can't wait for Scarlet/Violet ranks to open to play with mons that aren't restricteds.
Love your content! (I don't use twitch or watch livestreams much due to work schedule.) But I appreciate your YouTube uploads!

You’re a very instructive streamer, I don’t like that there’s not enough umbreon in this channel, but I wouldn’t learn from anyone else

For the VGC beginners: dont sweat over the numbers of EV investing as long as you have an idea where you should invest in each pokemon. I which still consider myself a beginner, reached both s13 and s14 master in doubles while having a mediocre idea and understanding on what should I EV invest to.

This is a very well-made, articulate video! Don't worry about losing because every match has a loser, and you're going lose a lot before you get better.

Excellent video man!! Thank you so much for everything, I'm only just starting to get back into VGC since 2009ish (!) and all these tips and advice is just what new players like me need ❤ can't wait to get into some proper good battling with established trainers, I will for sure be doing the stuff you talked about on my journey. Big love dude!

i have one question that’s always confused me about online battles, do i need to grind to level 100 while ev training, or just make sure they’re over 50 and have great ev/iv’s ive always been confused on that

Once Home is compatible with S&V, will you be able to transfer and use previous game pokemon in the vgc? or will it be exclusive to BDSP + S&V or only S&V? Couldn't find the exact answer anywhere xD and I'm new to vgc.

competitively, is vgc heavily reliant on "Meta" teams? or can i make a rouge like team based on some of my favorite mons. An all Dragon, ect...
