After you start the FireToolbox installer from your Windows PC, make sure you also watch the tablet screen for any pop-up approval messages or notifications. Not sure if this is recommended, but my tablet WiFi was turned OFF for the installation. I also downloaded the FireTool software .Zip file (not .Exe), and scanned it with Microsoft's virus checker, which it approved. This video's steps are still working with my new Fire Tablet HD 10 gen11/2021, running Fire OS 7.3.1.9 (fresh out of box with no updates).

Is this a good choice for doing just two things, reading books and listening to music? I use my chromebook for everything else when I travel, I just want to put on my headphones, listen to music and read my books. Thank you so much for your advice.

After installing Google Services and the Nova App launcher, when I try downloading from the Play Store, I am able to download apps but I never see them on my screen and can only open them through the Open button in the Play Store. Does anyone know the solution to this?

I need a way to change the navigation buttons so that it is similar to an android mobile were the stop button is on the left and not on the right, does some one know a way to do that ? Amazon could have kept the same format as androids, but no ! they had to reverse the back button and make everything difficult . My 3 year old has autism and gets really frustrated with the buttons been reversed as he is used to using the android mobile .

I am having a problem with my new fire tablet. The speed on wifi is 20Mbps down and 30Mps up while my laptops will do 175Mbps up and down sitting right beside the tablet. It was like this from day1. Anyone have a similar issue?
