You can change what search engine that Silk uses . Tap the three dot menu in the upper right corner, tap settings, then tap advanced settings. There you will find the option.

Thank you for demonstration - although I must express how difficult it was for me to follow. I need a basic introduction as to how to use this device. You are going too fast for me, so half the time I don't know what you are touching or where you are taking us. If you ever make another tutorial - please go slower and identify what your finger is touching and where the tablet is taking you. Thank you again. I had to stop watching halfway through because I was getting lost! (I am not tech savvy and I am a thousand years old!!)

Split screen can be done on the fire HD 8. I do it on mine all the time. The explanation you gave as to the fire 7 and 8 being too small to split screen makes absolutely no sense when you have phones which are way smaller is able to do so.

Can you get more battery life per recharge, or battery time by turning down the brightness? And would this work? And what's the minimum brightness you would still need?

Curious also if there's any other tweaks like this that might get you more battery time?

As soon as I open the tab it lands me on the silk page and there is no way out. No home button nothing works until I restart and then again it lands me on silk. Frustrating..!!!
