Tastiest ever Diplomat Creme

This is the creme we used to fill the Bronuts. Diplomat is a lighter version of pastry creme - it's a pastry creme with lighty whipped creme added. Use it in place or regular cream or custard
Ingredients:
Vanilla bean/ essence
500ml milk
1/4 tsp salt
60grms conrflour (cornstarch)
110 grms caster (fine sugar)
2 eggs at room temp
60g diced butter
80 grams dark chocolate (grated)
300ml whipped cream (soft peaks)
Method;
In a saucepan add milk, salt, vanilla and bring to boil, remove from heat as soon as the milk starts to boil
Whisk eggs,cornflour and sugar
Add half the milk to the eggs mix whisk well, add the remainder and whisk well
Strain the egg/ milk mix into a heavy based saucepan over a medium heat, whicking constantly untilt the custard is thick (about 10-15 mins)
Remove from heat add the chpped butter and chocolate
Pour the mix into a bowl cover with pastic wrap onto the custard to preven a skin forming and leave it to cool
Once cool, mix the pastry cream and add your whipped cream and fold through.
Place into a piping bag for the Bronuts or you can serve this as is or onto your favourite fruit.
