the time that it took to repair something by a professional may seem quick and easy, but we should never forget the time and dedication they have invested for a long time to achieve that ‘quick’ ‘easy’ state.

That smile after getting the device to work, I know how it feels, it makes you want to work even harder.

“The world is going to end because you didn’t replace the capacitor!” 🤣

I've come across the ram issue a fair bit over the years. Good catch

When you think of hours you have spent learning, making mistakes, learning from them, hours of rat holes jobs and still get them fixed and don after the hours a no fix and all the lessons learnt, years of practice and learning.... when you fix a device when you are grounded and strong in a short time.... just know you deserve it’s cause you really do deserve.... everything there is always a price to pay.... you just have to pay to get to that point mr Alex is now. My respect mr Alex, more knowledge... I won’t say more money... you know why.

I have been fixing laptops for over 20 years. The ram is always the first thing I check if it has no display. Plus it's the easiest thing to check. I've learned to always check the simplest things first before I tear the whole laptop apart.

Was glad to see you take a minute to confirm the issue/finding. Too rare these days. TY

In your case, everything looks easy !!! But you are an expert, and thats why everything looks effortless !!!! Most repairs are pretty horrible to sort out. But with thousands of pounds of equipment, and a lot of knowledge and skill, it looks simple !!!!

I made my first capacitor repair today at work. Before I would have ordered a new board and replaced it, but now because of your lessons, I was able to save the customer $1200 and get their Nitrogen Analyzer back online.

None of what you do is with soldering and fault finding is easy to me, you are a true master of your trade. I am having major issues with my RAM at the moment, sometimes my quad channel works then I can only use triple channel, wish mine was just as easy.

Wanted to come and show our support. We always try to fix our customers non-working boards even if they say it's a lost cause. Then we don't charge a lot for the time and love seeing them smile!

Nice. I regularly check for bad ram but when I saw the faulty component I didn't think that this will fix the problem. Once again a great job 🙂🙂🙂

The joy you get from repairing something is just amazing

Greetings. Why would an individual bother to ask such a ludicrous question? The repair appears easy because of how quickly you are able to diagnose and remedy the problem. This does not happen miraculously, but because of the hard work and dedication that you put in over the years. It is the desire of every technician to fix an impaired unit as quickly as possible. Why, because the quicker you are able to fix the unit, the quicker you are going to collect your fees and move on to the next unit?

Those repairs only look easy. But that is because they are made by artist. Well done

At min 10:43 you can see the dedication of a man that who don't settle to weld, but demands perfection. That caps would not have come off anyway, but it was not parallel to the others. I too feel the itch to not stop at 'just as long as it works' (as long as there are no risks around the corner). BTW Good job !

I believe doesn't matter how long is the video is, but the quality of information that it offers.
