An alligator captured the nation’s attention for seven days until being captured. Chance the Snapper, named after Chicago artist Chance the Rapper, the gator is 5 feet, 4 inches long and weighs about 40 pounds. He was first spotted in Chicago's Humboldt Park on July 9, when a photographer working a birthday party took a photo of him. Then, he became a local attraction. Chance the Snapper evaded capture until authorities called in Frank Robb, an alligator wrangler from Florida. #InsideEdition

People don't realize that proper care that goes into having an exotic animal. These animals have not been domesticated and belong back in the wild or in a sanctuary. To provide the right environment and food alone takes a lot of work. Some end up dying because if malnutrition and neglect or even released to a terrain that is not normal for that species
