We don't deserve dogs. They are the most loving and loyal -- RIP Hachiko 🐾🐶💔

Hachiko, man this dog makes me cry whenever I hear his story or see a movie about him, my dad told me about Hachiko when I was still a kid back then but for me it was nothing like, I was just like "oh cool I wish he was still alive" but now since I'm growing up, I'm learning about life more and remembering some stories that I heard back then from my dad had deeper meanings.

The true story is Japanese, my mom told me this story when I was young and I remembered it. I actually went to the actual shibuya station and saw the golden statue too

Your dog is just part of your world while you're their whole world. Treat them with the love that they deserve.

I once thought that Parker returned to greet Hachi in the end but turns out, it was really his ghost finally reuniting with Hachi's after he dies in his sleep

This makes two dogs I will never forget the stories of. Balto and Hachiko. Fun Fact: In January 1925, Balto and his sled team completed the final leg of the "Great Race of Mercy" or the "Nome Serum Run of 1925", a relay of 20 men and 150 dogs, to deliver an antitoxin to Nome Alaska during the epidemic that hit that winter season. If there is one thing I have learned at all from animals (but dogs especially), it's that loyalty and love are two of the most important qualities to have.

This really hit me hard. I lost my Blizzard 2 years ago. He was a beautiful and special cat. He would have been 4 this summer and i miss him every day. The day he died i cried like a baby. I know, i know....a 50 year old man should not cry over these things but i loved him so. Pets fill our hearts and souls.... so when he died i felt as if a part of me did also. I love you Blizzy, miss you my pops.

This was a beautiful, tear jerker movie. I've seen it 3 times and I cried again, watching this recap. I had 2 dogs and I miss them every single day. Dogs and all animals are so beautiful and magnificent, but I wonder if we humans deserve them.

Even if a dog is ugly…you should know about the heroic past of it so that you don’t judge a book by it’s cover😀
