Zuzu, a two-year-old German Shepard mix, will be taken into the care of an animal rescue group Friday after a video of her went viral. In the video, Zuzu wags her tail and got excited to see her owners, but they wanted a new pup. The family that adopted her complained Zuzu had become depressed after another pet in the family died. She was passed up by her own owners at an animal shelter but is getting a happy ending. #InsideEdition

For anybody who’s wondering what happened to Zuzu, she was adopted by a couple who treat her like the family member she should’ve been. She’s a happy dog now! 🐶

Remember: if you want a dog.

You have to realize that you have to commit to your dog just as much as the dog commits to you. The dog will accept you as it's master and will love you for the rest of its life. So if you adopt a dog, love it for the rest of its life, like how the dog does.

That dog would have been treated terribly if they were taken back by their “family”. I’m so happy Zuzu found a home and real family

If she got depressed over another pet dying that means she’s a loyal loving dog who cares deeply for her family. It’s so evil to throw an animal away like trash just for grieving.

ok so if people grieve on a death then they all good but when a dog does it’s sent to a shelter wow that’s heartbreaking. i’m glad Zuzu has an amazing home now and is doing good
