Okay...imagine this same scenario, but the dog is a 99 pound Rottweiler and it's 3 kittens, one of which claws first and asks questions later. Princess the Rottie was a draft excluder to my basement door for about 2 to 3 months when the kittens arrived. I remember once I was watching TV on my bed and the 3 kits were collected together in one corner of my bed, looking up and cocked over to a side - and they didn't move. So, I shrugged and looked up as well. Under the door, there was a glowing eye - that was Princess, looking at the kittens! One of my most favorite memories of that mad monster!
