You are bolting the Engine up to the Torque Tube in this video, The transmission is in the back of the car attached to the differential. Also I should note you never want to tighten bellhousing bolts until the engine dowels are completely mated to the Torque Tube in your case. This is why we drop front and rear subframes and take the drivetrain out as an assembly, However I have personally installed engines through where the hood would be. By loosening the motor mounts and dropping the front subframe down you have the clearance to slide the torque tube shaft into the flex plate. Hopefully you didn't bend the flex plate or torque tube shaft I have seen that done from this exact way . Good Luck
