Your explanations are GREAT. They also make it clear to me why, after 43 years, I haven’t learned the „der, die, das“ or understood why: Es ist der artig KOMPLIZIERT! Mann mūsste unbedinkt in der Grundschūle das alles mitzukriegen, oder?

Actually it is not „comMENTS“ but „COMments“,
and, in English, we usually say, „One OUT OF ten“ or, more commonly, „one FROM ten“, HOWEVER, the particular actual ITEMS being designated would, then, vary the preposition used:

„One of those boys…“
„One out of ten women…“ (or from)
„One of many conditions…
„One of my friends…“
„From a twenty dollar payment…“ (or „out of“)

at 2:33 should it be "vom Montag" ? if von is always dative and Montag is masculine, same thing with "Freitag" at 2:58 ... why do we say "am Montag" but not "vom Montag"?
