Fun fact: in the Odyssey not only does he give his full name, and title, but he also gives his fathers name. This is the greek equivalent of giving your social security number to someone.

OHH I JUST NOTICED when Odysseus says "remeber me" he points the sword to Polyphemus, and then puts it away as he continues to reveal his indendity. I don't know if that was intentional, but it's really cool how it symbolizes he COULD just kill the cyclops and leave no threats for the future, but instead he choses not to for his own pride. But it's fine, I'm sure this will not have any consequences whatsoever :D
