I love the contrast between Hector and Lalo bringing Don Eladio money. Lalo understands the power of presentation and just has natural showmanship, it's kinda funny seeing him be a better gangster than his uncle lol

It is incredible how Don Eladio controls every single scene he’s in. His charisma is off the chart, he is funny and joyful but Steven Bauer did a fantastic job of hinting in subtle ways his true violent and dominant nature. He teases and slightly mocks his subordinates, he appears to be a sympathetic man and almost caring boss but he is actually constantly establishing himself as the boss

I'm so fascinated and impressed by how we basically never see Don Eladio himself doing anything violent or cruel, yet he somehow has maybe the most menacing and threatening presence in the entire series.

It's just something about his confidence and how he always speaks to everyone around him like they're children that feels so damn evil. Amazing acting!

Even as a fictional character, a viewer can feel the anxiety (even a pinch of anxiety) originating from anyone who meets with this guy. A truly wonderful cast of actors they brought in for these shows is utterly fantastic.
