Don't know this person's recipe, but mine is 1 can of crushed pineapple undrained. 1 can of cherry pie filling added next. Don't mix. Layer it. Then sprinkle a cake mix of your choice over it and level it. Finally, top with pats of butter. Usually, it takes at least 1 1/2 sticks . Bake at 350 for 50 min to 1 hr.
