$25 for 2 dozen Kirkland golf balls in America. As an amateur golfer, I’ll sacrifice a few yards off the tee for a price like that.

Awesome data. I have noticed that all balls, regardless of price, both fly the same way into the water. 🤔😢

ProV1 in Australia are around $90 a dozen. $30 or less for a dozen Srixon. As a 13 GA, there is no gain for me paying 3 times the price.

Been using the Kirkland ball for the past 10 months and as a 23 handicap player it’s a great ball, but I also have noticed (even at my level) the drop of in distance from the tee and approach shots. I was given a couple of Pro v’s and Callaway balls by a mate (he plays off 10) who wanted my opinion as he said it would improve my game and he was right. A shorter iron into the greens and slightly further off the tee but can I justify the price hike when I will lose maybe a couple or so in a round. Not sure 🤔

Finally a video that states the obvious that no other golf channel will say. I’ve been saying Kirkland goes 10-15 yards shorter off the tee for years but no one mentions this. These are great fall balls playing winter rules though

I started playing the Kirkland this year and have been pleasantly surprised by its overall performance. Especially considering the price

ever wonder what the cost of all those tour endorsements is on the retail price of a golf ball?

I found exactly the same with the new 3 piece Kirkland balls. They are just too spinny and short, off irons and driver for my liking.

I find the Kirkland balls everywhere on the course so I've tried a few rounds with them. Even at my slower speed with driver (95 mph or so) the Kirkland is shorter by about 10-15 yards. And irons are also consistently shorter by 5+ yards. That's compared to both the Titleist Trufeel and the Vice Pro and Pro Soft. It just spins way too much. Fantastic around the greens and a magic pill from the bunker especially, but not worth the loss of distance for me. As MGS said, it's very much a niche offering. If you have speed to spare, don't mind losing some yardage and don't spin the ball enough (although I don't know anybody like that) it could work well. Vice Pro is a fantastic all-around urethane ball.

As a senior hitting off the forward tees, if I can get 200 plus out, with my Cleveland 2 hybrid, in play most of the time, as opposed to the driver, I’m going to have a 100-140 yds left on par fours and that’s my plan for par or better.

It would be interesting to see if the gap in distance was as big for older players with slower swing speed.

Honestly, at 73 it's every inch that I need from the tee, however maybe a compromise, the Kirkland price would swing it for me.

I wonder if the slower swing player would notice a difference with the Driver. I didn’t find much at 90 mph driver speed

Hi Neil, would it not be better to alternate the ball type?

Great out of the bunker ball is for mid to high swing players with a 90 compression...I guess the only way to see if it will work for me is to try it.. I play the Wilson Staff Duo Soft Spin and have great results, but like all manfacturies Wilson is taking this ball off the selves and replaceing it with a Staff model...Go fligure....PS...I've tried the Callaway ball and like it off the tee and long irons, but for some reason, I always seem to shank them off the shorter irons and wedges...I'll stick with My

I think the new model of the Kirkland is a little better on distance than the older one but still seems short. An impressive ball at the price point nonetheless.

A better comparison would be the Kirkland vs Chromesoft, not Chromesoft-X.

The Chromesoft-X is a harder, spinnier ball.

I play Maxfli tour, perfectly happy with them.

When doing a comparison on balls, why don't you use yellow and white to show where they are compared to each other. Pretty simple EH

Why didn't you use a Titleist, rather than a Calaway? There's a reason the pros only play Calaway when they're paid to
