Let me guess they recommend waiting for Scorpio....which will need more cash thrown at it. Plus it's not released until next year. So, if you can't afford that one, get this one. Oh and I bet when Scorpio is released there will be another stupid reason not to buy that.
People who have 4K TVs (it also works with normal TVs btw) would be stupid to buy a 4K blu-ray player over this. This offers so much more value for less money.

this all sounds great but notice the big heat vent on top...most of my friends that own xbones mentioned that the internal power supply is probably the reason for it since there's already get pretty hot so it will be interesting to see in the long run if it has better heat distribution than the original

I've been using the Xbox 360 first model since its come out to this day. But today I decided I want an xbone, and I can't decide whether to get xbone or xbone s.
I don't have a 4K tv but I just feel like it'd be better to start off with the newest model.
I can get a 500gb Xbox one s for $299
Or a 1tb Xbox one for $299
Knowing me 500gb will be more than enough space.
