I think the Logic loop breaks when you consider that the Xbox Scorpio will not be in the same price range as the Xbox One S. Chances are it will be $200 or $300 more expensive than the One S. Most people won't want to pay that for a console, so The One S is the best choice. Also, a lot of people wait for a console library to be big enough to justify the purchase, specially when a lot of games are a lot cheaper. So why get an Xbox Now? Cheaper price, big library, lots of game offers.

I highly doubt next consoles will play 4K games. The hardware must be very expensive to play native 4K.

to be fair, the price point on project scorpio is still unknown and it has every chance of being really, REALLY expensive for a console. like $1000 expensive
