Then when Eren confirms that his dad was wrong, Zeke moves his arm back. The pocket on his left arm (Zeke's left not our left) contains a bad weapon. The pocket on his right arm contains a baseball for if Eren agrees with the plan.

Zeke thinks Eren was influenced by Grisha which made him the way he was. But he doesn’t realize the fact Eren has always desired freedom and those who try to take it arnt seen as human in his eyes. To the point he murdered 2 men and has 0 trauma about it. They weren’t human to him anymore, just feral animals that needed to be put down.
