True. If you don’t know what to change your behavior to, practice not caring or not reacting to anything. The more indifferent the better. If he got you participating then start the abuse, relax, get calm, shut down and go indifferent. That leaves the cat with no string to play with.

So weird to see this video right now. Tonight was my birthday and he did everything he could to try to ruin it.. I started acting completely out of character (long story), but without going into my own personal details, I did the complete opposite of what I normally would do and I could really see him confused because I didn't get upset by his behavior.
