Just use full bottom spin. If the cloth is slick. And you jack up on the shot the Cue ball will draw back, bounce off the rail and closer to the 8 ball rail. Also another option. This trick here is definitely unique and I recommend for beginners that wanna learn all the unique tricks

I would use top left and hit it hard and the ball will go away with speed. You have to hit it hard and it will surf on the rail for a sec. You should try it
