Dallas police during the encounter the suspect pulled out a gun and fired one shot.

Words are important: maybe when a police officer is faces with an armed suspect they have to shoot to save their or other’s lives we start using “officer was ‘forced’ to shoot armed suspect.”

Poor lady. She did not want to have to do that. The way she cried out “Oh my God”, was heartbreaking. You can see the remorse immediately after but also knowing her decision was correct.

It’s such a difficult position for police to be in.

Look at that ‘training’, or should I say societal pressure, to not punch and aggressively dominate. If someone is even reaching into a bag they need to be instantly controlled through violence. So sorry if that offends you. Police have a high suicide rate and we need to encourage them to save themselves with the BEST action, not the most friendly to the media.
