In this lesson I want to show you how cool power chords on the guitar are. You can create really cool sounding riffs and guitar parts just by moving the shape around and using your ears. You don’t have to know any music theory at all. I’ll teach you how to do this with the power chord shape rooted on the 6th string and the shape rooted on the 5th string. By the end of this lesson you’ll be ready to create your own guitar riffs using power chords.

Another brilliant lesson from YTs finest teacher.
I have a question..i often like to play acoustic songs with power chords..what do we do with say an Em or Bm chord..how would these translate to power chords..e.g will an E5 be ok?
