Your lessons have always helped me break out of the box I have been in for years. I have brought a lot of depth to my music. I hope one day we can jam together!

My favorite power chords are very Megdaeth. The first being the chromatic use of the major third, and the second is the spider chord. Which is more of a technique than a chord, but I still think it's a fun way to add excitement to some otherwise lackluster power chords.

I'm so glad you mentioned Incubus with the stacked 5th. That type of sound made me want to play guitar, especially with Pardon Me. That and AC/DC.

Whenever I hear the stacked 5th, I automatically think of Anthrax. Even when you played it, sounded like the intro to Anthrax's Caught in the MOSH, great song

Octave power chord.

Major 3rd + octave power chord.

Inverted power chord (root + minor 3rd)

Diminished power chord (root+flat 5 + octave + another flat 5 octave if you feel crazy)

This was fun and informative. I loved how you referenced familiar songs and then jammed using the cords. Good job.

Very informative, I was tired of just using the basic with the higher octave root, this is a lot to work with.
