How to Infused Olive Oil with Fresh Herb

Ingredients:

CITRUS infused olive oil SPICY infused olive oil
2 cup extra virgin olive oil 2 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/2 cup lemon & orange peel 2 fresh rosemary sprigs
1 lemon grass 2 fresh oregano sprigs
2 fresh thyme sprigs 2 med fresh red chili
4 clove fresh garlic 4 clove fresh garlic
1 tbsp dried chili flakes

Great oil recipes but using the fresh ingredients in the bottles will introduce a source for botulism to grow, even in oil. Shelf life is generally 5-7 days unless you store in the fridge which extends the shelf life to 3-4 months. Completely dried herbs are much safer.

I will in Georgia video there much this week I'll be making quite a few infused all since different ones I will be doing Tomatoes as well in my refrigerator will be full of stuff and thank you so much for the information I need the basics but I wasn't exactly sure as how long to infuse the oil as far as heating but you don't want to blow it you just want to let it simmer thank
