The default option should be quoted! It's like they did it on purpose so you could do this useful video 😄
Sometimes I don't understand the logic behind some Excel's developers choices

NEVER hide columns or rows. Why would you suggest this horrible practice? Instead, group columns or rows so that it appears hidden but it’s clear that there’s data there.

For the purpose of charts, if you don’t want the raw data visible, why not just have the data on a separate tab?

Why can't that just be turned on by default?!

Thanks for the helpful video. Unfortunately I do not see this option in Google Sheets. Just a heads up to other users.

Omg i was not aware on this approach... What i normally do is to put my reference table on the very right end of my spreadsheet.
Thanks for this straightforward approach 😎🎉

Always, Group Columns or Rows over Hiding Columns or Row. Group > Hide.

Hello and thanks for your help. My question that I can not find answer: How do I link ONLY VALUES between spreadsheets NOT CELLS WITH VALUES (google sheet). I want the values to keep linked no matter if I add a row or a column in the spreadsheets, no matter if the cell change position. If there is a video would be perfect. Thanks for your time, greetings from Athens-Greece

Honestly, I've just been making the data table at the bottom of excel sheets (CTRL+Arrow keys) to move to very bottom or just fomatting the text as white :/

Good one! Another one for a similar topic. If you use Power Query as database for a chart, the custom chart formation might get removed whenever a refresh does not include this exact data. F. e. you color the sales for northeast region of a bar chart in grey. When 'northeast' is missing in any refreshed data the color format goes missing for the next time it is included. You can solve that by using dummy data entries in PQ. :)
