The Light blinds those who stand to close to it. While The Dark consumes those it engulfs. Balance as in all things is Key.

If Revan isn't brought back into canon some how I will be disappointed in Disney.

Sometimes you must travel through the Darkness to find the Light. A false Light can lead you further into Darkness.

And this is why the Gray is my favorite. After all, how can the Jedai bring balance to the Force if they dismiss the Dark Side?

Your video quality is truly always improving. The pairing of the musical selection, the myriad of pictures, and the script you create all blend seamlessly! Truly a fantastic video, ripe with fantastic content. Thank you for the constant flow of superb lore.

This is why Yoda was sparred. He faced and accepted his darkness. Even after sensing the complete deduction of the jedi order, Before it ever happened, he took no action to stop it. Why? Because the force willed it, And yoda accepted this. The new Movies seemingly through all this out the widow tho in favor of rehashing the series on a more ridiculous scale. Look no further then
the Multiple planets being destroyed. That would rip holes in the force so fierce, That even non force sensitive people would feel that on the other side of the galaxy. Story for the sake of story That has no foundation.

This was one of your top 5 uploads! I love the concept of balance before imbalance...order before before chaos....BRILLIANT! It's worth mentioning that not only did the Dark Jedi stray from the original teachings but eventually so did the vaunted Jedi Order.

A few interesting tidbits about the Je'daii as far as separating them from the Jedi and the Sith. The Je'daii were pretty much isolationist as a order, looking down on non-force users but not looking to conquer them. And while they may not have actually attempted to "conquer" other peoples/planets, the Je'daii were known simply to take what they needed. The Je'daii were also willing to put innocent civilians in harms way, even letting innocents die, as long as it served for the overall good or for the good of the Je'daii (often not necessarily in that order either). The Je'daii's members were very broad in their personalities as well, some were pious and thoughtful, others boastful and oversexed, and others grim and violent.

Really enjoyed the music that went along with this video. Felt like it fit well with the theme of the video, along with it just sounding cool. Would love to hear more music like this in future videos.

probably my favorite video so far. I subbed to learn all the nooks and crannies of the Star Wars Universe (legends &/or disney canon) that I had no idea about. I think this older order is the way it SHOULD be, though what we have in the Revan to Sidious timeline is more exciting to explore.

The first Grey Jedi were found in some fan-fiction book, unpublished. I do believe the ONLY reference I've ever seen was in the Expanded Universe book: 'The Jedi Path', with various notes pertain to the Jedi Code, ect. It mentions Grey Jedi, but not how people interpret it. GREY JEDI are described as Jedi that don't adhere to the Code; they take shortcuts, and follow the Living Force more than any other aspect. They're known to be brash. In other words, Qui-Gon Jinn (who is mentioned in the small section) is believed to be a 'Grey Jedi'. They are still with the Jedi Order, but they're 'Mavericks'. That's it.

Grey Jedi don't swing between the ideology of the 'Light' and the 'Dark' sides of the Force. They don't have access to all sorts of combination powers, nothing like that. They're merely Jedi that act like Qui-Gon did (Or Obi-Wan in Episode IV, who was very much the same way).

Go look it up at a library or book store. There is NOTHING else.

wait, is that Revan with Kylo Ren's lightsaber at 5:48 ? That's a cool picture.

Once in an interview, it was asked, "will Kylo live past episode 8?" And the answer was, "it depends on what you consider 'living' ". What if Kylo has seen Rey is his own force vision, that she would be the death of him, meaning she will kill the part of him that is Kylo ren- and in killing Kylo- she brings about the start to Ben solo's redemption. (I also like the idea of Ben loving her, so his love would aid in bringing him back...). What do you think?
