Maybe Bendu represents a different balance than the father. One is the balance of light and dark while the other is the combination. From this view Bendu would likely be stronger than them though, as he would represent the force flowing through everything.

Bendu is one of the coolest characters in Star Wars, his voice actor Tom fucking baker aka mr doctor who is so great with his voice. He brings so much to many of his roles and makes the characters he plays fee so special

My theory is that the ashla, the bogan and the bendu are the daughter, the son, and the father, and that each is represented as some kind of creature, the father as Bendu, the daughter as Morai, and the son is harder, but it might just be a humanoid character, like Maul.

What the republic era Jedi missed was that the force is neither good not evil, it's gray. It's how you use it. The light side were just as brainwashed as the dark.

Dai Bendu of Ando Prime is closer to the ancient Je'daii (which borrowed heavily from them) than from than a member of the Jedi order. He says he preceded it all which the Dai Bendu did. So that said it makes sense.
