it is worth mentioning that having a lightningrod near but not too close to this farm is a very good idea. i got unlucky with my farm and it got struck a little while after i finished this and now i need to find new villagers since the lightning converted the existing ones into witches

Amazing farm! I never knew iron farms were this easy to build! Thank you so much for building farms for people who can't build an insanely big farm! Built this twice already, in different worlds. Works like a charm, very reliable!

for those of u who need some troubleshooting with golems not spawning:
- take off the torch the first night, let the villagers sleep to make the beds their own
- make sure the beds are facing with the head away from the zombie
- make sure there are no other golems around ( so don't build it right by the village)

The tutorial should definitely mention why we are going up 5 blocks from the ground. It's so the golem doesn't spawn at the bottom instead of in the farm itself, I placed it in a not ideal Terrain because I didn't know that, and I had to Terraform around the farm so that the ground is lower there.

I am on 1.20.6. For anyone asking why iron golems aren't spawning anymore after awhile of it running. I had the same thing happen to me, for some reason adding another level of walls around the water made iron golems start spawning again. So instead of one high wall you would have two high. I would also suggest added more hoppers under the walls as ingots sometimes slide past the one row of hoppers and gets stuck under the walls.

Still works on 1.19.2 if anyone is wondering. However i would recommend making the spawning platform for the golems a few block bigger each way out to prevent them from spawning on the ground beside the farm :)

If you're using this farm and trying to duplicate it for more efficiency, keep note that villagers need to be **16** blocks away from other villagers (due to java edition rules) to spawn their own unique iron golem. I made a mistake and did 10 blocks away like from what the video said. Otherwise great farm efficiency for its build.

The best part about this video is that you show us how to expand, thank you so much, super helpful video!

Works super well, thank you!! To anyone reading, make sure to give enough height (5 blocks) above the terrain/buildings so the golem spawns inside

The best minecraft channel for building farms and seeing cool projects, hands down. Easy to follow tutorials, kind of relaxing music, really great overall.

BTW guys, if you are having trouble with the farm not working at night, make sure that the bottom of the bed is facing TOWARDS the zombie, and the head of the bead is facing AWAY from the zombie. Otherwise, the villagers will go to bed and will not have direct vision of the zombie and will go to sleep, thus stopping the spawning.

A Tip for everybody who builds an ironfarm for the first time: let the villagers sleep in the beds.
I never build something like that and i was confused why there were no golems spawning, until i destroyed the redstone torch and let the villagers sleep for a full night.

Tip: for a much easier way to get in, you can just remove the work block of some of your current villagers, put them into the chamber and the villagers will go there

Great build! It's not only productive but fun to watch. Thanks so much!

I love how I could just watch and build at the same time because these tutorials are usually sped up and dificult to follow and it gave me alot of iron so I love it!

if your farm isnt working check if there are any nearby iron golems, kill them and see if they spawn outside your farm. If they do dig out the hill/moutain maybe about 5-7 blocks
and then check again. Hope it helps.

Works on 1.20
If you see golem spawning on the ground just flat the area around it a little bit, I did like going to most forward point of the farm and flatting the area with radius 10 blocks and did the same to all 4 directions and worked.
I saw the golem stopped from spawning when I wasn't close enough so you can just make a house for yourself around it or make the farm near your house.(you don't have to stick to it just don't go like a thousand blocks away or the farm stops and takes a while to start working again)

Great tutorial. No clickbait, and straight to the point. I wish all YouTube videos were as good as this
