Thanks for the peek at this very advanced vermiculture method.
The predictability of this system is the best part, the number and size of worms plus the amount of castings can all be predicted in advance with great accuracy. The consistent quality and quantity of the castings and the very healthy worms grown to desired lengths, it just can't be beat. If someone really enjoys working with worms and wants to move up into the business this method of vermiculture is the most rewarding. With that being said, I still would rather have people vermicomposting at home and reducing household waste and keeping it out of the landfills.
Have a great Day!

I'll just throw this out there because I'd love to see it happen....been learning a lot about commercial biochar production and heat exchange. Instead of transferring that heat to a greenhouse, it'd be cool to see it go to warming a vermicompost operation during the winter months and then some of the castings could be used to inoculate the biochar all in one operation. Voila, we're halfway to saving the planet. It's times like this, I wish I was an engineer...

Great video thank you. Good to see some large scale vermicomposting. I am curious tho, when they’re bedding material looks just like finished castings can you tell the difference between the 2?

Do you have to re-bag the casting you resell? If so m, how? Or do you know of a really budget friendly way to bag castings (labor is not an issue)

i blended soils for 16 years, color has nothing to do with Tilth, but customers think they need dark product

is teed & sedge peat sustainable, environmentally friendly? Is it one of pests that's getting banned? It seams like a good idea since sedge is mostly composted already. Makes business sense, I think. I don't know anything I'm really new to worms.

It's important to thoroughly examine vermicompost under a microscope or have it analyzed to ensure its quality. The source from which we buy vermicast meticulously inspects each batch before putting it up for sale. I believe that a diet primarily consisting of peat wouldn't result in diverse or high-quality castings.

Wait so youre just a reseller yourself?? Not saying its bad im just surprised. Makes me wonder if thats the better option for me to start is just reselling..

Thanks so much! I have a friend who just gave me a stainless steel long worm bin. Perhaps it’s best to sell it and take that money and buy worm castings from you and resell them with our label?

How do you get a worm farm to supply you with worm castings when you're not able to make enough of your own or aren't happy with the quality of your own worm castings?
