the cobra manoeuvre is used to quickly lose air speed and or to change angle of attack of a fighter plane used in dogfights to quickly get from in front of a enemy plane ( vulnerable) to get behind a enemy plane ( advantage )
i tried doing it only the new mig 29 plane quickly pull up and decrease throttle at the same time even use the air brake at the same time it's not as quick to do in this game as in reality and i need to practice more but you can do it.

someone asked me if you can do a cobra manoeuvre with the new mig 29 so i gave it a go i need more practice but you can do it.
to do it pull up maximum and at the same time put throttle to zero and use air brake

You're not exactly doing the Cobra manoeuvre because you're just going straight up. The Cobra manoeuvre makes you stop mid air and making the enemy go straight into your front.

The Cobra is only useful in combat against inexperienced pilots, it leaves the aircraft vulnerable to wingman attacks and has never been in used in irl combat

The F-16 can Cobra in this game as well I just did the Cobra in the F-16 today

Sir, the raptor CAN do cobra, however at certain speeds.

I've seen the P-51 AI do this while getting an angle for guns and immediately questioned myself

"Sorry what just happened? Huh? No no no no, that's not possible."

Context: it stopped midair while I went 500 knots or something, then turned around as if nothing happened. In the Su-35 and Mig-29 AI I get it, the F-16 less so, but that?? Hell no.

You can't do a Cobra Maneuver with a MIG 29 because it doesn't have thrust vectoring capabilities.

I love this game so much. I hope we could use the SU35 in the game. It has thrust vectoring and I've seen the AI doing that in gun battles.

Tip if u put ur flaps down all the way u climb faster making the cobra look a lil better ;)

You have to cut power. Hit the break before pulling up.

They added cobra maneuver into this game and trust vectoring so yeah

flaps need to be down as low as they can go and air brake as soon as you pull up i think it will work

Mig29 have drag shoot they use it when they land kindly add drag shoot to mig option

There’s a nother jet the su-57 that will have a butten over refuel probe that you’ll see if you click it the plane will stall and you can spin and do anything
