How To: Brushless Motor Bearing Replacement

In this video we show you some simple tricks and tools to help replace the ball bearings in your brushless motors.

Tip with the paper clip is the tip of the year for me. With other methods shown on youtube I was not able to get the first bearing out. I have been thinking about how to achive the same thing you have with the paper clip, but your method is far more simpler compared to what I've been thinking about. Paper clip method worked for me for the first time. Thanks a lot.

a drill press makes a good light duty arbor press. been using mine for a long time to remove and install bearings.

Nice trick with the paper clip. I don't have an arbor press but a bench vise and a scrap piece of wood with a hole drilled to accommodate the paper clip worked great for me. Thanks for the video.

Nice! was just struggling with some Lumenier 2206 motors, super tight fit, that paper clip idea is right on! Gotta try this. Thanks for sharing!

OMG the last time i did this i was using a small 2mm shaft slightly at an angel in the hole to get the bearing out. This was way to hard cause it jams it more then pushing it out.


This video was there befor i tried id, but some how google didnt showed it to me ^^ NOW im on for some bearing changes!

Great vid any ideas on how to remove the stator on a days 1102 motor.. I have twitchy motor syndrome and it’s not the esc or solder joint at esc so I’m thinking it’s where the wires connect to stator?..
