Thank you for your service in Vietnam! Where your love of medicine began with bullets on the battlefield. We are glad you followed your passion and have helped SO many people understand their health by SHOWING them and then treating them.

Yes. Very sensible. Without tests how can anyone make a diagnosis let alone prescribe medicine for what you have? Yet. They do it all the time to me.

I cannot overstate the value in your "looking" motto.
Sadly for women ( especially young seemingly fit ladies) we get dismissed. I nearly died at 28 from a massive NF3 CNS benign tumor. No one had ever looked.
I was sent to Psychiatrist because my reported symptoms were written off. I did not go.
10 years later was given traction which began rupturing the tumor. Doctors were shocked. Gave me 2 weeks to live without surgery I was given 10% chance to survive. So much suffering just to get a cat scan. If someone had only looked...

If you don't look or even guess, how do you call yourself medical?

Your passion rocks. You are so right. Mri has helped a lot. My scans even now draw a small crowd of lookers. Lol. Guess my job is to remind docs not to discount my ( and others) pain because my stoic, coping nature and unusual symptoms are rare enough to be confusing to them.
Looking via MRI has changed this for fellow sufferers and much has been learned. Thanks so much!

Thank you for your service in Vietnam. I listen to you everyday and it has helped me to understand certain things with clarity. I wish there were more people in the world such as you. Watching everyday from Vancouver BC Canada.

The average insured American has a difficult time getting imaging. If you complain of back pain they send you to PT. The pain continues until it's too late and cancer has spread to your bones. All because insurance companies don't want to pay for imaging. Very sad that this happens too often.

😂😂😂 “I realised I didn’t like being shot at”, line of the day and weirdly relatable, even though I live in a country where the only time you’ll hear or see a gun is on American TV

Now if only Canadian doctor's would learn this... instead of doing what everyone on the street can do.

That’s nice it all cost money, which a lot of us don’t have. Even with medical insurance, you still need money. It’s the one issue I have with you. I can’t get imaging done cause it still costs too much, even with insurance coverage. Or maybe that’s the problem to poor to afford extras such as copays but not poor enough to get tested for free 😢 Catch 22

Sir, I've had panic attacks and I was continuously fearful of everything then I went to a doctor and he prescribed me anti depressants. It has been 5 months. Was medication a good prescription for me?
