I used to play on the NA server Ascension Valley (pc) as a Lancer main and had so many friends. I really loved the game but it's been so many years since the shutdown. I miss the game a lot but coming back poses a lot of questions. I know there isn't a way to transfer my previous account but wish there was lol.

I need you to be honest with me here. How likely it is to "find a home" here? Are people elitist pricks liek they were in retail? Difficulty spike in this game from normal dungeons to HM was insane and noone wanted to help learn, etc. People had egos the size of Mount Everest... How difficult is it to "catch up" in gear? I wanted to level a healer, but I remember that was sooo slow and painful, any remedies for that here? I really love this game, and thought it was over when official servers closed, was very sad. I only found out about this thing now... But I never managed to get the community to play with or learn/grow which ultimately made me quit every time i came back over the years....
