[Tera HD] Guide to Mystics

Some info I left out I added via annotations, the video was long enough as it was though. Complicated class, lots of stuff to put in about them.

When I first tried the mystic I was very quick to judge it boring, but after about 10-15 levels of playing with the mystic I actually really liked the class. Now looking at this guide again its helped me out very much. Thank you.

I love the new mystic patch. Throwing motes, adding titanic wrath to aura of the merciless (so you don't have to keep spamming it. sorry if I spelled it wrong xD) vow of rebirth is now a lock-on skill (which can be glyphed to lock on to 2 people), volley of curses can lock on up to 4 targets (can be glyphed to 5) and you can summon more the one thrall at a time. :DDD. also the skill cooldowns for the motes were reduced to 5 seconds instead of 8.
Edit: the Apex update gives the mystic awesome new and buffed abilities. The arun's vitae healing effect could stack up to 3 times, but i'm not sure if it still does now

Your videos are the best, watched them all and while I'm sure there will be some differences with the NA release it was great seeing every classes mechanics actually explained. Also, definitely convinced me to make a mystic, was leaning towards it anyways but didn't have enough intel to make a good decision. Thanks!

My 1st time playing Tera and I chose mystic.... My friends wanted a healer. So I became a mystic.... I had no knowledge of the game, . All I know mystic can heal. You said it's the 2nd hardest class to master.... I thought it was really easy... And Mystics are fun to play.

@MoustachedMushroom It was a translated admin post from the korean forums. Koreans were complaining that Slayers, Archers and Warriors all got buffed fairly quickly, but Blue Hole has been taking a long time to buff priests. Blue Hole responded by telling the community that it is a lot harder to balance a healing class than it is to simply buff the damage of DPS classes, they then went on to say that they have some good ideas to improve them and we should see the buffs soon.

you earned urself a well earned sub for this video alone m8! ur other guides seem legit as well but this one was very in-depth and explanatory, even though I havent bought this game and only have a quick look at it you made me completely understand the gameplay and the class which forms the whole role of playing a Mystic. But the real reason for this being so good is that anyone else makes mystic look shitty and boring as hell, while you made me wanna play one to master and enjoy its uniqueness

i tend to like fast high action dps classes like warriors, so that's my main, but i also have always wanted to be a healer. i tried out a priest, and while the play style is alright, she sort of sits on the shelf in LoT. i found it hard to really enjoy any solo leveling, as grinding took ages with such small hits in the priest arsenal. i decided to test out a mystic after meeting one that has been successful in endgame and is willing to help me out once i reach 60, and GOD do i love it. soloing so far has been an absolute breeze with thrall of protection. it took me until level 20 to die for the first time. i also like dropping motes around areas i remember being killed a lot when i was first playing through, so hopefully someone will find them useful if they run by in time to grab them. i realize the thralls look and even act a bit different now than in this video, but this still pretty much covers it.

Nice guide. Been trying to decide between priest and mystic for my second character slot on the F2P version, and this was very informative.

@lobete lots of korean teams consist of 4 damage dealers, then a mystic for CC (Because mystics can sleep 2 people at once,  and fear 4, this works good against teams with 2 healers; mystic just sleeps the other teams mystic/priest, and then the 4 dps train someone down)

However, the 40 mana per 2 seconds is nice, always great for the "rage" of Slayers and Berzerkers. (my friend doesn't understand why I call it rage).

@Abarai1 sorry, delayed response. The fear removes control of their character and makes them run around randomly. I know its a bit (no pun intended) confusing, because there is an actual confuse in this game, but this spell is a fear. It should be called curse of fear. :P

ty for this video now I  understand on the skills on what to use in party ... because I didn't know much in party on how to use these skills right I have been kicked out in parties and even talk down  because I don't react on time. I start to get nervous when someone becomes very demanding and pushy so I shut down or panic... I'm a sensitive person but I love to help others .. I was about to quit the game because of the mean ppl I didn't know ppl can be so mean with out considering the other...I will try one more time.. this video is very helpful... ty
