I loved getting more packing ideas from you. I've been using packing cubes for a while, and each family member has a designated colour- grey for hubby, green for me, and pink for our daughter. It makes it easy to locate things at our destination. Also, there are three cube sizes for each colour and that helps organize things too.

Hi Lily! Writing down a list of items you pack is a great idea! I would, however, recommend you keep the list with you in your carry-on. If the airline loses your suitcase, you can claim your items easily and give an estimate of what they're worth. FYI- airlines in the Montreal Agreement are not required to reimburse you for items you are unable to provide a receipt for (although they will, generally, offer you some kind of reimbursement) so if you keep the receipts for items you buy or travel with you, even better! Great video, I've added it to my faves!

i loved this video! the way you filmed it was so clean, also i adore all of your many packing cases! they're so tasteful i want everything! a tip for packing lighter is roll your clothes up rather than folding them flat, it'll save room. i always write a list too because i'm so paranoid i'll leave something and the list means i can check i have everything packed i want to take back home.

Try rolling your clothes to avoid creasing - and also to be able to see them easily in the cubes without having to take everything out! Such an informative video - thank you! Have fun in Milan x
