Packing Light: 15 Outfits, 7 Days, 1 Carry-on - Travel Capsule

Today I'm sharing everything I brought with me and my travel capsule for 7 days in Toronto. I created 15 outfits with a 10 item travel capsule with carry-on luggage. I hope this helps you pack light next time you travel!

Love this video, Alyssa. The creativity just flows with fewer items!! Who would guess :). When I went to Italy for 3 weeks with just a carry on, I felt so smug using a little black t-shirt dress for multiple day occasions using different small accessories, but then, when I needed a nightie, used the t-shirt dress! Gave it a quick hand wash, hung it up to dry and it was ready for the next day's use. It didn't wrinkle and I could even use it as a cover up at the beach. No one was the wiser. I found this item worked very hard for me during the 3 weeks.

I always pack very light (carry-on only) for trips, but I have no fashion sense. I am just amazed by this video. The individual pieces on the rack looked so…normal and unassuming. But when you put them together for the various outfits, they all looked so classy and classic and well balanced and put-together. Astounding. It’s like magic.

Love this! I did 3 weeks in Peru including 5 days climbing mountains in 0°- 20°C weather, 4 days of city time with nice dinners (including one at a Michelin restaurant) in Cusco and Lima, 5 days in the 40° Amazon jungle and 4 days at the beach... all in a small backpack. Did laundry 3x but I was blown away how little is needed with some planning and trying everything on like this!❤

Straight away, I thought, only two bottoms!? 😮 I would be adding a pair of black dress pants... but once I actually watched the video 🙄 I could see this is always my packing issue. Too many just in case items, then I just feel overwhelmed. The way you changed your look time and time again, with so few pieces, brilliant. I just came back from a long weekend - 3 days and 3 nights - in London. I took a fair amount of time creating my first travel capsule and I was so pleased with it! I needed looks that went from day to night. Comfortable for daytime sightseeing and stylish for afternoon tea, an evening play and Beyoncé’s concert. I shopped a lot and returned a lot. I found a camel colored, light weight vintage Chanel cashmere sweater. Boat neck. That worked with white jeans, black pants and over a knit dress. I settled on a color palette of white, beige and black. Again, I was so pleased and look forward to the next time. Thanks for all of the wonderful inspiration!

I followed the proper pieces to my 15 day travel from Baja California Mexico, to Guadalajara, Mexico and I remember that I remember I brought only I set that do to constant rain, so shorts were out of rhe question to style them @ streets, very uncomfortable to roam in the streets in a cloudy spring...
On the other way my other trend choice were just fine..my Father is from Guanajuato, 40 minutes from Guadalajara. So I was convinced of the weather situation to a avoid a oops moment in a far away city from my birth town. Thanks for tour style advise...
