Me: Don't know if I'll go see Onward in theaters.

Grace: GO SEE IT!

Me: OKAY!!!

The first ten seconds of this video made me feel a whole lot more confident in an original Pixar feature that seemed bland in its marketing

The marketing for this movie just makes it seem very bland. This review put me at ease, thank you!

I’ve always felt Pixar has the worst trailers, I’ve learned to ignore and just go.

I liked Monster's University. It turned a lot of Prequel tropes on their heads.

Hey, saying Monsters University is the worst Pixar film isn't fair! Cars 2 exists 😂

I had actually missed most of the advertising and simply noticed yesterday's advanced screening, and booked it earlier this week. Yup. Pixar continues to make me cry in the bloody cinema.

I thought this movie’s main message was going to be all about dads, which I can’t really relate to because I’m thankfully lucky to have a dad who is very involved in my life. But then when I realized it was really about brothers, I was emotionally wrecked because I’ve never been close to my brother and when I was younger all I wanted was a little brother. So yeah, this hit me like a truck.

This movie's gonna emotionally stab me in the balls, isn't it?

This review sells the movie better then the trailers. It really looked like a bland concept, now I am semi-curious and want to go see it.

Well, not EVERY Pixar movie can be "Coco" or "Inside Out". 🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️

I finally watched Onward today and I LOVED IT! It was such an beautiful ending and I cried so much throughout. Really hit home for me and I hope others watch and love it to so it gets the recognition it deserves imo

I was disinterested in this film for awhile now but now you convinced me Grace, all of these themes you mentioned resonate with me personally, I'll try to have someone watch it with me in March when it opens. Thanks you Grace. ☺

You mentioned a lot of themes in the movie I've recently dealt with. Your enthusiasm and candor is much appreciated. Looking forward to seeing in a theater. Thank you.

Thanks for not saying that Onward is just an average Pixar movie. I really don't like how every Youtuber say that it does not feel like a Pixar movie even though it is an amazing movie

I like being emotional manipulated. It’s nice knowing that you’re going to get a good cry out of a movie. I don’t know what that says about me haha.

I wasn't that excited for this one even though I've always loved Disney/Pixar. But after watching your review I'm really looking forward to it :)
