My relative is actually Dan Scanlon and I’m so excited for him and his ideas coming to the big screen! This movie was based off of Dan’s life. He never got to meet his father and this film a surprise to his brighter as a gift.

I saw this movie today at an advanced screening and I loved it! I don't see why people are disappointed by this movie but then again I have a brother so I really bought into that aspect of the film.

I just got home from taking my son to Onward. Like Up, Onward was way better than the sum of its parts. I agree with his review Onward isn't a natural 20 but it had heart. And what was surprising was how marvy Onward is in 3D. Unlike other animated films this was crafted to work in 3D.

I gave this a 5 out of 5 on Letterboxd. I dont usually like giving 5's out but i really think this movie deserved it. I related so much to the 2 brothers and i dont think theres a single dull moment in this movie. Its wildly original and different to what Pixar usually does and i respect them for trying something SO different and im really happy that it worked. Im gonna see it again once it officially releases to see if i love is as much as i do now and if I do, then this might honestly be my favorite Pixar movie.
Do you think that im overexaggerating or is it totally normal to love a new released movie more than some other movies that i loved as a child? Toy Story 2 is my favorite Pixar movie but this movie just hit me on a different level.

I liked the review and I agree with a lot of things, but I honestly don't understand when people say it's not as magical as other Pixar movies. For me, Onward is the best Pixar movie ever (and that's saying something). Matter of taste, I guess.

I adored this movie man! I as you mentioned, having a brother really made me find this movie so relatable and I literally thought I was watching Cody and I on the big screen! Great adventure, laughs and a constant reminder that you should be grateful for what you do have in life.

Great review austin I went to the early screening yesterday too it was a great movie and I cried on a few scenes for sure an it taught me that I should treasure every moment I have in life
