It is WILD to me that Joe Keery hasn’t blown up outside of Stranger Things. Dude just oozes charisma. I care about Steve more than just about anyone on the show

I think Noah Schnap Is a fantastic actor, and it's so frustrating to see his character be underused for 2 seasons straight. Although I really enjoyed this season, it's clear the writers are struggling to tell interesting stories with every main character with such a large cast.

Dustin is annoying? his presence/energy on screen is kinda unmatched. He adds onto the 80s flare, vibe & spirit to Stranger Things in comparison to Mike who hasnt brought much to the table this season compared to prior seasons, Dustin is able to though yet again just as good as prior seasons if not better because i'm enjoying this season better than the 3rd; plot and character wise too. cant wait for vol2

Noah had nothing to work with for sure, but he nailed his expressions imo. I can see everything he's feeling without much dialogue and that takes skill.

Minor detail I liked was the teacher who punished Angela for bullying Elle despite the fact that she lied about not being bullied. Adults in most TV shows act ignorant to these things but I was relieved to see that she actually had common sense 😅

I disagree with the Noah schnapp not being all that good of an actor part. He literally carried season 2 on his back and had some of the best performances in the show.

I really liked the satanic panic plotline in Hawkins. Not only did it feel super natural for the setting, but was also accurate for when satanic panic was *actually* going around America which is cool. The "You're Wrong About" podcast has some great episodes on it.

Sadie Sink really blew me away this season, especially in the climatic scene where Max fights against Vecna's possession, thanks to the power of friendship and Kate Bush. That entire sequence could be construed as a metaphor for battling PTSD, depression, anxiety or addiction, and how to overcome it with the help of your loved ones.

As much as I love Robin, at times I was trying so hard not to grimace with her lines. It really feels like the Duffers decided to go with a characterisation that was geared towards what people on Tumblr think Robin is like, rather than what Robin is actually like. She speaks like an "incorrect quotes" post, and is constantly delivering shitty one-liners. And it's a shame, because Maya Hawke is really good as Robin, and in s3 she was a highlight, in my opinion. I just don't like what they've done with her at all.

I completely agree about Mike, Will, and Jonathan being useless this season and it’s pretty disheartening. I loved this season so much but it sucks that 3 characters that were so main and important in the first few seasons get the back seat for this one and added characters like Robin and Eddie have more to do than them. Don’t get me wrong I love both of them, but at the very least they should try and give the 3 boys more to do considering how they’re part of the OG cast/crew

I loved it. Didn’t think the 11 bullying storyline was great, but it fit the era cliches really well. I feel like the kids are finally adult actors and carry the story with their abilities, not their cuteness. It certainly was as good as, if not better than the previous 3 seasons.

I’d give it like 8.5/10 overall in a critical way, but a 10/10 as a fan.

I just wish they gave Will more to do. Noah Schnapp carried season 2 and was pretty good in season 3 despite being sidelined, now he's just there.

Went into this season not really expecting much, came out absolutely mind blown

I actually think Noah Schnapp was really good this season. He can convey his feelings so well without saying a word.

I'm still working on my ability to examine actors' performances but I thought Noah did really well as Will. He's mostly doing: sad, dejected, and concerned for the whole volume but I think he sells it believably.

i have to disagree about dustin and robins characters, I think Dustin especially was not only really funny and had some pretty good comedic timings but he also is an integirl part of the team finding out what is going on since he is like the smartest one their. and his aloof personality helps to brighten up the scenes he is in I feel like, he reminds me kinda of the doctor from doctor who in that he is just so used to these situations at this point he can work through them with little stress or panic. I think he has adapted the best to these situations out of all the kids who have serious trauma which I like because its a different approach or outcome even to the possible character development despite most of them going through the same thing. showing that everyone deals with experiences differently.

robin felt a lot different to me this season compared to the third season. maybe being compared to nancy who is more stoic made her stand out more, but she just felt different im not sure why.

personally, i thought Maya Hawke and Natalia Dyer really bounced off eachother well. One of my favorite parts of the season.

Your opinion on Noah Schnapp hurt. He is literally one of the best actors there, he just hasn’t been given anything since season 2. Like dude he was the standout performance of season 2.
