Watching the cast of Stranger Things watch *that* scene in Episode 4 is almost as good as the scene itself. Sit down with the cast as they react to Max’s iconic scene from Dear Billy. #GeekedWeek

This scene is by far one of the bests scenes ever i mean the song, the memories, lumax, max running to the gate, the acting, everything is perfect

I love how Gaten is just fully focused on the scene and I am pretty sure we all looked like him

The scene is about a depressed person on the verge of suicide. Max wanted to switch places with Billy. Hence, the song choice. What Max realized though was she had so many values in her life to live for so she choose to live rather than let the darkness consume her.

I also thought the white light metaphor which is a symbol for someone dying being reversed here was very clever. Instead going to the white light toward death the white light here leads to life. What a beautiful and powerful scene.

The pure panic on her face as she runs. Incredible acting.

Me first watching the scene: She's got a point. She's an icon. She's a legend. And she is the moment.

"running up that hill" by kate bush has a lot of meaning in this scene, wanted to swap places with a dead relative that you loved and would no mater what swap places with them (billy). and life constantly is you having to run a long upwards hill, dreading every second off it but then eventually reaching the top.

Sadie is so modest about her acting skills! She's incredible in that scene, but only talks about how it was to film.

6 hours to put on a vecna suit and it's fully practical? Big props to the entire team of stranger things the season was incredible

She was the perfect character to confront vecna since she interacted With every main character differently. It wasn’t the typical “I’m new in this town let’s be best friend forever now”.

The analogy for depression, trauma, and suicide is what i love the most here. Max was literally fighting her demons and escaping the darkness to come back to life. And she had to find those happy memories herself and put in the effort to run away/escape. Also ridiculous that Vecna's makeup and costume took 6 hours.

I am absolutely shocked that Jamie is actually in the Vecna suit, I was convinced it was a different person all together under all that. Amazing.

The acting this season was out of this world, god damn. The whole cast is amazing. And Priah looks so grown up! It kind of breaks my heart to see them all not really be kids anymore, but in a happy way? I can’t explain it.

Jamie Campbell Bower’s performance as Vecna/Henry/001 was absolutely phenomenal. I have to acknowledge that if it wasn’t for the way he portrayed Vecna, the feeling of dread would have been dampened. He did such an incredible job and I hope that once Vol. 2 airs, we can see him sit down with the cast and talk about it more.

JCB and Sadie carried this season for me. They deserve all of the awards. Absolutely amazing!

Truly the best scene in the entire 4 season run of the series in my opinion. Watched it yesterday and cried my eyes out. The song, the tension, the hidden message about fighting depression it was all beautiful. 👏👏

Just inspirational that scene was. I cried lol. It was just so emotional and relatable. Just the utter desperation on her face to escape and get back to the ones she loved. I think it showed her that she does need them and that they need her too. Sadie deserves an emmy and the absolute world they all do :)
