Was so frustrated filling the oil. Thought about it and bought an old style refillable ketchup/ mustard bottle (plastic with unscrewing lid and really narrow squeeze spout with cap). Paid $1.00. It’s 12 ounces so I sharpied a line at the bottom at the 2 ounce level. Filled it full and squeezed it in slowly, then filled the other 2 ounces and finished filling it. Simple, easy, no mess at all. So nice. I used to do a few YouTube videos, but not recently. Thought it would be cool to let others in on this handy tip...

Just bought one today and it connects to my cell phone with Blue Tooth, and reports a few interesting parameters, one being an hour meter and another being hours till oil change. Keep in mind though that Honda will no longer be making small engines after 2023, ( Such a shame since they make some of the best dependable engines ) Paid $1200 in Charlotte, NC --- Thanks for posting, interesting video ) 😀

Justrite safety cans are my favorite for filling up small stuff like that. There expensive but will last a lifetime and work amazing

I picked up a gas can (lowes or home depot) years ago that you twist the nozzle, tip it upside down, then insert, pushing down. the force opens the valve to let the gas out. It automatically stops, then just pull it out. Never spills. Update: It's an older Briggs&Stratton smart fill. I don't know how well the newer ones work but they bode no spills and you just lift the can to close it.

Jerry can nozzles can be found on Amazon now, and at some RV supply stores. Thanks for the video!

I buy the motorcycle gas cans! Thanks for posting this. I’ve been looking at those myself. Maybe one day!

Didn't that come with the battery charge cables? I just picked mine up from the dealer, and it came with charger wires. I'm in Canada, maybe that's the difference.

Oh man your gas cans make me scary, those little "monsters" :D yes you have to find better one.
That generator sounds so quiet compared to others... EU2200i sounds nice and not annoying unlike others, so very good you choice Honda.

The 2200 has a case seal problem which allows spilled gas to get on the inverter module. The newer models have a rubber deflector inside to prevent getting it on the module. It helps some. But you can still get gas on the module. So you have to be very carefull and not spill the gas, which is hard to do.Also the generator comes already broken in from the factory. They drain the oil out before shipping it.But it doesnt hurt to change the oil after a couple of hours.

The better question is, do you feel safe Wark and fuzzy using a nice safe gas can like that???

Try a 1 litre bottle . Like for mixing 2 stroke oil and use a small funnel

I also live in Cali. My no spill cans won’t dispense gas with the can tipped up until there is downward pressure on the spout. You let that lip on the spout rest on the edge of the gas tank and press down to open the gas can’s valve. You shouldn’t be able to dispense gas by just tipping as you have done. You have somehow defeated the no spill feature. They ARE a pain in the butt.

I went to HD and they had one in stock for $1399. I asked if they price matched and of course they do. The online price at Lowe's was $1199. The HD people acted like I was trying to steal the thing. Managers were called, several cashiers came over, I thought they were going to call the police. So the manager eventually said sure sell it for $1199. THEN, I showed my military ID for 10% off and OMG the same thing all over. I thought I was about to be trespassed. I did eventually, after 45 minutes, get it for $1199 minus 10%.

wish Honda would come off that high price, they would sell tons more.

By the 92 octane it's the same as the premix but they have a straight gas like I said that's 92 octane that's easy to pour that's what I use on my Honda it's either 92 or 93 octane and it's much better than using a gas can remind you of an old paint thinner can

Which ever oil you use make sure it’s API certified sn or whatever and use conventional for break in then later you can go to synthetic
