it is well known that you should try to main about 3 agents, but i also think its important for them to be different roles, so then no matter what you probably can fill a missing part in the comp. for instance I main chamber because he is the most fun agent for me, yet I also have been trying to get into fade as she appears like a good pick right now and our team can have a more versatile comp. Its been working well and it allows my team to pick what they want and everyone is happpy. Sena knows what he's talking about so trust him, it works.

Really great point about the fill method. I actually used that same exact method to get into radiant! (climbing out of immortal 1) I would commonly fill in most of my games unless I felt like instalocking which only happened about once in every 10 games. I would usually fill chamber as sentinels and chamber weren't really picked that often for some reason. Maybe because I was lucky or because the chamber meta didn't hit as hard as it does today because people didn't see the true potential for chamber back in E4 A3. My second most played agent would be viper, then kayo/fade/brimstone, then after that it would be duelists. I always ended up having really insane winrates on my fill characters (60-80% on 10+ games) and it was really beneficial to my climb to radiant. I used to be a Jett/KJ main mainly, really weird combo I know but it was the only agents I felt comfortable with before and I felt like I could win, but with more practice on other agents and getting better at my fundamentals I eventually could fill at a decent level as well.

I actually tried this method before i watched this video and made list which agents i am playing on which maps and out of 4 games i won 3 games and 1 was close but my 2 teammates were trolling. I surprised myself how i played agents that i played for the first time and i actually ended up team or match mvp in these games. This method definitely works

When I solo Q, most of the time I ask my teammates "can I play agent", "is it OK if I play reyna", "did u all get the agent u r comfortable with".

Doing this has created a good and positive team environment which has helped me in winning more games.

i used to play flex since plat and now im immortal flex is just so fun instead of maining 3 or 2 agents it also make you know how to counter other agents very well like when u learn viper lineups your gonna know where there viper is gonna stand or you can predict sova darts or yoru tps

I am usually doing the fill experiment when i play Valorant, no matter if i play solo or with my friends. I have played all the agents and i'm comfortable with most of them, so it's easy for me to ask my teammates what agents they want to play so i can know what to pick for myself and what could be more helpful for the team. I will try to note somewhere the solo matches and see how the winrate goes. As always, excellent content from Sena ✌

i started doing this, i’ll usually wait till my team picks and play off them or if they have mics i ask who’s comfortable playing who, and say which agents i can play to fill. it seems to work very well most of the time. i win 2 games usually in a row before losing 1. but so far i’m happy with how my team mates play for the most part

I agree with this in general, but personally, I reccomend having the agent selected that you want to play. This tells other players you want to play this agent, but I don't have too. I find this works better for me personally on my journey(road to immo with only solo queue)

Powerful advice. I use that my self most times..but what so often happens, is that game starts with 2-3 instalock duelists and even the ones that dont lock, they say they can only play Reyna or some other agent already locked..

I was sitting on a 50% win rate for more than half the act.... I play at least 3 comp games a day. I mainly play jett, reyna, chamber, and kay/o. Using this method I went from hard stuck bronze 2 to plat 3 in a little over 2 weeks and now have a 66% win rate. I can confirm this does work.

Ive been a filler "main" (in ranked, ive done it wayyy before in unrated) for 2 acts now and ive climed from S2 to P3, Im not cracked or anything but im climbing without even filling the whole act pyramid ^^ but i feel most comfortable on Skye, Omen and Brim. Omen and Skye are very versitile agents what i like :D

I was hard stuck s1 for a while I usually played Reyna or neon or kayo but I got bored of always entering and realized it really wasn’t for me I was in this phase we’re as kayo I would sit back and bait my teammates while they entered and I thought that I was pretty useless so I just started filling and I played almost every agent I asked my teammates what they want me on and that made me more content in my pick and really did make valorant fun for the first time in a while lol

I’ve always been doing this just because I have never felt like I had a main agent but I currently have a 53% win rate and I am comfortable on most agents. I started on iron 3 and I easily climbed 3-4 every act, currently Dia 1.
