Almost 20 years later I’ve come to the conclusion that I have far more in common with those I fought vs those I “served”…

I used to watch these raw videos during early days of youtube. it was insane. From the controversial apache strikes, marines shooting civilian vehicles, to deadly carnage checkpoint shootouts and car bombs. pure chaos.

You'd almost think that red dot sights were developed in the 2000's because of the majority of weapons here being used with only iron sights. Crazy how time flies.

I lost 11 of my friends in Fallujah. This fight was all for nothing. I lost my left lung and will probably die young because someone decided this war was a great idea to get rich

My old coworker who fought in that battle said he saw his friend get atomized by a rpg and all they could find was his boot after the fact. these guys went through training the whole 9 yards he said and the guy was just gone

Three or four years ago a good friend of my dad's killed himself. He was one of the people clearing building and stuff. He helped me with math homework a few times. man was incredibly smart. Rest in peace❤️

I ended up managing 2 Marines back in 2013 - 2015 who both fought in Fallujah. They didn't know each other when they were in Iraq, but they were both riflemen. Neither could hear worth a damn either, and both had some serious PTSD issues. Not debilitating, but serious. How about let's stop building new nukes and spend that money on taking better care of our vets?

My grandfather told me stories of the American Marines since he witnessed them in countless battles in ww2.
"Renegades of war (he was talking about the convicts, I think) yet hold their role as heroes to those in dire need of assistance. You take out one, the rest becomes stronger. They... will do everything to avenge the faith of their lost brothers"
that's how he described it in a poetic manner.

The camera man: standing out in the open while being shot at.
This is solid proof that all camera men are invincible.

The only evildoers were the people who sent the soldiers there

My Vietnam veteran friend would never talk about his fighting. I miss you, Bob.
